The PDS PerioPack is an innovative, evidence-based protocol specifically developed to manage chronic gingival inflammation and periodontal disease effectively. Leveraging decades of clinical research, PerioPack combines the gold-standard antibacterial action of Chlorhexidine gel with the whitening and anti-inflammatory properties of 10% Carbamide Peroxide gel.
This dual-action regime not only significantly reduces gingival inflammation and bacterial load but also effectively addresses the common issue of tooth staining associated with long-term Chlorhexidine use. Clinical observations highlight no staining when using the gels together compared to traditional rinses, enhancing patient compliance and satisfaction.
The PerioPack protocol is simple yet powerful:
Morning: Brush with Bright Teeth Gel (10% Carbamide Peroxide), expectorate, and avoid rinsing for at least 20 minutes.
Evening: Brush with Chlorofluor Gel (0.2% Chlorhexidine), expectorate, and avoid rinsing for at least 20 minutes.
Patients experience visibly healthier gums, reduced sensitivity, and brighter teeth, allowing many to eventually transition back to conventional oral care practices. Ideal for those struggling with persistent oral health issues, PerioPack represents a practical, patient-friendly solution, trusted by clinicians to deliver lasting results.

Chlorhexidine helps control plaque and eases localised gum inflammation.
Small amounts of fluoride ions present are taken up by tooth structure and help to increase resistance to dental caries improves the binding of chlorhexidine onto tooth surfaces.
Carbamide Peroxide 10% gel is a plaque inhibitor that is particularly effective against gram -ve bacteria and has a demonstrated ability to bleach tooth structure with varying degrees of effectiveness.
By alternating daily applications of Chlorhexidine and Carbamide Peroxide bacterial plaque is inhibited, particularly gram –ve. The Carbamide Peroxide inhibits Chlorhexidine staining and the Fluoride in the Chlorofluor reduces cervical sensitivity caused by the Carbamide Peroxide.
To assist with the control of chronic gum inflammation, peri implantitis and dental caries. The product may be used to reconstitute oral plaque prior to extensive dental treatment and for bleaching teeth for patients who have exhibit cervical sensitivity to Carbamide Peroxide.
Lichen Planus may be exacerbated by Carbamide Peroxide Gel and treatment is contraindicated for these patients. Carbamide Peroxide will remove the smear layer from dentine but has no reported deleterious effects on tooth structure. Children under 3 years of age and those unable to expectorate the gels.
Isolated cases of uneven bleaching or banding may occur and patients must be advised of this rare possibility. As with most medication, use during pregnancy is not advised or on children under 16 years of age
Avoid contact with eyes.
The use of chlorhexidine alone may cause a harmless superficial staining on teeth where established plaque build-up is present. This will disappear if use of product is stopped.
Initial Visit:
