Composition
Chlorhexidine Gluconate 0.2 % w/v
Sodium Fluoride 0.003 % w/v
Mouthrinse only : Alcohol 8.9% v/v
Actions
Chlorhexidine helps control plaque and eases localised gingival and oral infections, Fluoride ions present are taken up by tooth structure and help to increase resistance to dental caries.
Indications
ChloroFluor Mouth Rinse is use for the control of minor infections and to ease associated discomfort. Also used as an aid to oral hygiene after oral surgical procedures or jaw fixation. Used to control plaque growth on removable prosthodontic or orthodontic appliances.
Contraindications
Not recommended for people who cannot expectorate.
Precautions
Avoid contact with eyes. The use of chlorhexidine as a mouthwash may cause a harmless superficial staining on teeth.
Directions for use
Place approximately 10 mL of solution into the mouth and swish around and between teeth for a timed minute. Spit out but do not rinse for at least 15 minutes.
